ARTIST BIOJulie Fisher is a Virginia based fine art photographer and teacher leader. For over twenty years, she has been at the high school level crafting curriculum that bridges Fine Arts and STEM with community service. After earning a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2017, she joined the team of faculty at Foxcroft School. She recently received the Upper School Innovative Educator Award from The Virginia Association of Independent Schools in 2024. Her work in and out of the classroom reveals collective memories associated with landscapes and legacies from all across Virginia.
